Documentation of Piotr Bosacki’s first performance of The Fourth Scroll, organized by WRO Art Center in cooperation withWrocław Contemporary Museum. In this piece Bosacki uses one of the so-called ‘netherlandish tricks’ employed by the 15th and 16th-century composers. The trick is that the paper on which musical score is written can be read in the usual way, from left to right, or it can be turned over, illuminated from behind and read backwards. Thus, the same notes can be played simultaneously by two facing each other musicians.
