Philippe Franck is a co-curator of TRACES and the director and founder of Transcultures (since 1996), Centre for electronic and sound cultures now based in Mons, Belgium. He launched City Sonic, sound art festival in Mons in 2003 and Les Transnumeriques, digital arts & electronic cultures biennial in 2005 (several cities in Belgium and in France). He has curated many sound/multimedia/interdisciplinary exhibitions, events and festivals in Belgium, France and abroad.
