“... I have observed in my travels or in the experience that I have if the region of Punjab, from where I originally belong. I lived in Delhi all my life but that’s where my ancestors come from. It is also about reinventing my relation with the language and the origin...“Gurvinder Singh, Indian filmmaker and writer talks about his new feature film “Alms for a Blind Horse” (2011). The movie is set in Punjabi region and it is based on a novel with the same title written by Gurdial Singh. Gurvinder talks about the idea to create a movie from this book and his personal interest in the story of the region Punjabi in India.
