Aki Nakazava

Aki Nakazawa (JP)

Aki Nakazawa (born 1976), a video artist and curator, lives and works in Cologne, Germany. She studied visual media and video art at the Art College of Nihon University in Tokyo. Since 1997, she is a member of the video-art group “Spread Video-art Project” (SVP) in Tokio. She works for international film and video festivals, institutions and museums as a video-artist and as a curator. Her video Negai wo hiku [Drawing wishes] (2006) has been shown and awarded in many international film and media art festivals, including the WRO 07 Media Art Biennale.
